HYPR Hawaii’s tireless R & D department is at it again. Into the wild and waves, we proudly release the fleet of Papaʻainas (Dinner Tables). It’s the latest addition to HYPR Hawaii’s premium board line-up with the super-fast
double concave hulls. The unique design allows anyone to paddle a shorter board than they are used to - with superior stability in choppy water. The big, but hidden volume in the design allows bigger paddlers to use smaller boards in their daily outings without having to move around big long race/touring boards for cruising or training. The swallow tail design offers greater thrusting power by extending the water-line along the rail.
Papaʻainas are very popular boards in HYPR Hawaii’s premium line-up; highly versatile, maneuverable, and just incredibly fun to surf and play around on. Go ahead, serve dinner on it too!
CONSTRUCTION
High strength and ultra-light construction materials are used throughout.
Military Grade S-Glass layers on top and bottom. S-glass soaked in epoxy is lighter and has a much higher tensile strength and modulus than common (E-glass) fibreglass.
Super-light EPS foam core, surrounded by a full perimeter, reinforced S-Glass rail.
Integrated stringer construction provides the board‘s strength and rigidity.
Epoxy infused into wood veneer for additional strength. Extra layers to reinforce standing area.
Gore-tex vent valve & GoPro mount & cargo net at rear.
Honeycomb carbon fin set.
