INTRO

Welcome aboard the flagship of the HYPR Hawaii family. Ohana’s are highly versatile, offering a stable ride in a wide range of conditions. Shaped as a traditional nose rider, the wide rounded nose provides the paddler with great up-front buoyancy and lift. Excellent choice for beginner to intermediate paddlers, as the width and volume contribute towards superior stability. Speed and glide happen almost effortlessly, thanks to the flow-thru double concave hull which offers the lowest water friction index of any other board out there.

This classic all-rounder board is also great starter board for SUP surf. Jumping around the board you instantly feel the stability. The Ohana’s length and width combine to offer a balance that makes it easy to catch smaller waves… and to catch waves earlier, meaning more time enjoying the ride. Cruising around on flat water, or throw any kind of wave conditions at it, the Ohana performs.

CONSTRUCTION

High strength and ultra-light construction materials are used throughout.

Military Grade S-Glass layers on top and bottom. S-glass soaked in epoxy is lighter and has a much higher tensile strength and modulus than common (E-glass) fibreglass.

Super-light EPS foam core, surrounded by a full perimeter, reinforced S-Glass rail.

Integrated stringer construction provides the board‘s strength and rigidity.

Epoxy infused into wood veneer for additional strength. Extra layers to reinforce the standing area.

Gore-tex vent valve & GoPro mount & cargo net at rear.

Honeycomb carbon fin set.

PACKAGE INCLUDES

honeycomb fins, leash, premium bag, rash guard or hoodie, and HEX Carbon 1-piece paddle (HYPR Crossflow 90 model). Paddle can be deleted for $300 credit, or upgrade to Metallic 12K Carbon 1-piece paddle for $100.
